Football club “Brownie” under Odessa Charity Foundation “The Way Home” took part in the first inter-regional indoor soccer championship within the bounds of the project “Red Card to Child Neglect”.

It so happened that not the strongest team of “Brownies” went to Ternopol (the place of competitions). Pasha Ivanchenko and Denis Ivanchenko couldn`t go with the team for different reasons, and major coach of “Brownies” German Shuyskiy had problems at the main job. That’s why, in Ternopol the fitness coach Michael Rikun acted the charges of major coach. He is a teacher a leveling school in secular life.

The “colleagues” in the project “Red Card to Child Neglect” from Kiev and Donetsk, boys from Lvov (football club “Lvov”), the team from Vasilkov (Kiev region) and 3 football teams from Ternopol took part at the tournament besides “Brownies”.
The organizers of the competitions distributed 8 teams to 2 groups. Two Ternopol teams and boys from Kiev became the rivals to “Brownies”. Unfortunately, in the group “Brownie” took the last place, they gave in to all competitors and scored only one goal (Vanya Kazaryants distinguished himself in direct kick).

At the next day in the butt game for 7-8 places “Brownies” gave in to the team from Vasilkov.
The team from Kiev and youth team of Football club “Lvov” met in the final opposition of the tournament. Football players from Kiev piped at the post with the score 3:2 in the intensive struggle, in spite of the sympathy of the spectators to the boys from Lvov.
Yes, “Brownies” lost in all of the games, but they received valuable game experience, because it was the first such tournament for the whole team. Inmates of Way Home got to know to children from other places, saw other boys playing, were plunged into the atmosphere of sports holiday. Here it is, social rehabilitation and adaptation of crisis teenagers, this is the main idea of the project “Red Card to Child Neglect”.

By the way, we need to mention the Odessa team became the only, which had girls in the team. Anya Vandler and Olya Petrusevich started training relatively recently, but Maryam Hansevyarova and Rita Bezverhaya are already experienced players and in addition Rita invariably plays in the first team of “Brownies”.

Anatoliy Demyanenko, the captain of Soviet Union national team, possessor of Cup Winners' Cup in “Dinamo” team in 1986, conducted awarding of teams, who took part in the competition. During the awarding of Odessa team Anatoliy Vasilievich specially thanked girls for taking part in the competitions and wished success to the team in further matches. Every player of “Brownies” doesn`t doubt that many matches will be in future.
