Street children gain a new home – rehabilitation center for children, which found themselves in the crisis situation. Here professionals are waiting for them: lawyer, mentors, social workers, psychologist, physician. In the center children are able not only to learn but also to find new friends. Individual rehabilitation program is developed specially for each child, which includes restoration of physical and mental health, filling in of blanks in the school education, development of creative skills. Specialists of the center search for children’s relatives, restore their documents.
Children can receive professional orientation, learn how to use computers, study sewing craft, hairdresser art, and above all this – receive important vital knowledge and skills. Besides that classes on prevention of HIV and other diseases are carried out in purpose to provide necessary knowledge and to form stable vital attitude. Children’s festivals and plays are often organized in the Rehabilitation center, both children and adults participate in preparation to them, they prepare performances, presents and surprises for each other, for guests and friends of “The Way Home” fund. Life of Rehabilitation center – is a life of a large family. Unfortunately, for the majority of children family of the Center is the only family they got. Rehabilitation center is meant for 26 children.
